Shipping Inspector

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Shipping Inspector to ensure the accuracy, quality, and compliance of all outgoing shipments. Duties Inspect outgoing shipments using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and vision inspection systems to verify dimensions and quality standards. Review shipping documentation for accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements including

ISO 13485, FDA

regulations, and HACCP standards. Coordinate with warehouse and manufacturing teams to ensure proper packaging, labeling, and handling of products before dispatch. Conduct quality audits and inspections on shipping processes to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to ISO 9001, CGMP, and other quality management systems. Utilize data collection tools to record inspection results, discrepancies, and corrective actions for continuous quality assurance. Operate coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to verify complex part measurements against specifications. Collaborate with quality assurance teams during internal audits to uphold high standards of quality control and compliance. Requirements Proven experience in manufacturing or quality inspection roles with a focus on shipping or logistics. Strong knowledge of quality systems such as

QA/QC, ISO 9001, ISO

13485, and GMP standards. Familiarity with regulatory requirements including FDA regulations and HACCP protocols. Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments like calipers, micrometers, vision inspection systems, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM). Ability to analyze data accurately and identify root causes of discrepancies or non-conformities. Excellent attention to detail combined with strong organizational skills.
