$80,000 annually We are seeking an experienced Shipping/Office Manager to lead daily office and shipping operations in a fast-paced production environment. This role is responsible for coordinating order processing, routing, billing, customer service, scheduling, and internal workflow to ensure deadlines are met and operations run smoothly. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and confident managing multiple priorities while supporting continuous process improvement.Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily office operations, including routing, order processing, billing, and customer service.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of routing guides and special shipping requirements.
- Review and verify customer orders for accuracy, following up as needed to obtain missing information.
- Establish, maintain, and revise production schedules.
- Monitor stalled jobs and take action to move them forward efficiently.
- Track and support the flow of information between departments.
- Partner with leadership to ensure orders are processed and scheduled to meet tight deadlines.
- Maintain an electronic archive of shipments and related records.
- Investigate chargebacks and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Assist with order processing during high-volume periods or as needed.
- Manage, support, and train direct reports.
- Support e-commerce and marketplace operations; Amazon experience is a plus.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of relevant experience in office, shipping, operations, or order management leadership.
- Strong ability to multitask, prioritize, and perform effectively in a high-pressure environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience with EDI and ASN systems.
- Excellent attention to detail, with strong data entry and reporting skills.
- Strong leadership, management, and communication abilities.
- Knowledge of process improvement practices.
- Experience with MEGASYS and document management software is a plus.
- Flexibility to work additional hours as needed.
