JOB DETAILS

First shift, Monday

• Friday 7:00 am

RESPONSIBILITIES

Coordinate with logistics, customer service, and other staff involved in shipment activities Assist with scheduling and rescheduling shipments Plan logistics including staffing and storage space Track and update incoming and outgoing shipments Prepare orders for shipment and verify the quality and quantity of orders Load and unload trucks and pallets Inspect incoming stock and reject damaged goods Complete documents for in-transit damage claims Report discrepancies, over-shipments, or substitutions to the supervisor Sort, separate, and store deliveries in designated areas Maintain inventory of materials and supplies Carefully maneuver equipment and tools that involve close control and adjustment Work individually and as a team to ensure orders are shipped out on time Comply with health and safety regulations and always wear protective gear Maintain a clean and safe work environment

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Previous shipping/receiving experience is preferred Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting is a plus Excellent communication and organization skills Required to stand for an extended time Engage in frequent squatting, bending, pushing, pulling, and lifting Ability to work in various weather and temperature conditions Ability to operate necessary tools and equipment after training Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Great analytical and problem-solving skills Follow written and verbal instructions Surge hires for a variety of top jobs in the area.
