• 4:30 PM Industry warehousing & distribution (Transportation and Material Moving Occupations) Reference number S_175874 Spherion is recruiting on behalf of one of Vermont's top employers, seeking multiple Shipping/Receiving Associates to work on a contract-to-hire basis in Vergennes with large, supportive team, and room for growth.

Responsibilities:

• Package products for shipment in accordance with company standards, carrier requirements, and government/military packaging specifications
• Verify shipping documentation including commercial invoices, packing lists, and export paperwork
• Ensure part number and serial number on product matches shipping labels
• Unload inbound shipments from trucks using pallet jacks or other material handling equipment
• Receive and inspect incoming materials against packing slips and purchase orders Working hours: 8:00 AM
• 4:30

PM Skills:

• Ability to lift and move packages
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a regulated environment

Education:

No Degree Required Experience:

1-4 years

Qualifications:

• Experience processing domestic and international shipments using SAP or similar ERP and carrier systems (FedEx, UPS, DHL, freight forwarders)
• Hazmat / Dangerous Goods certification ...
• Experience with AESDirect/ACE filings
• Experience in regulated industries (aerospace, defense, or medical)
• Familiarity with export controls (ITAR/EAR), government shipping requirements, and compliance procedures today for immediate consideration!
