Job Description
The Crump Group USA Inc. is a family-owned and operated premium, all-natural pet treat manufacturer located in Nashville, NC. From humble beginning in Caledon, Ontario, Canada in 2006, we have successfully established 3 market leading brands (Caledon Farms, Crumps Naturals, and Dog Delights) that are distributed throughout Canada and the United States. Over the last 3 years, the company has seen exponential growth and is nearing the completion of a major expansion. As a part of our ongoing growth strategy, we are seeking a dependable and responsible Shipping & Receiving Lead to oversee our Night Shift Warehouse operation (11 pm
- 7:30 am, Monday
- Friday). Job Overview The Shipping/Receiving Lead
- Night Shift is responsible for the coordination and scheduling of all outbound traffic for finished goods, and inbound delivery coming into the facility.
FIFO/SOP
are being followed Maintain shipping records, including tracking and shipping history information and provide information for traceability as needed Ensure freezer/coolers in RAW and RTE inventory is stored following standard procedures Additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor, Shift Manager, or Warehouse Manager Ability and willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed Recipe for Success Lead day-to-day communication with team and develop harmonious relationships Ability to establish priorities and lead those priorities in their work area Previous experience working in Shipping/Receiving environment is required Demonstrated experience in the safe operation of material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks Must possess the ability to multitask, ensuring accuracy and completion for each task Must possess strong computer and/or data entry skills Excellent time management and problem-solving skills Demonstrated ability to wear proper PPE and comply with safety requirements Physical ability for repetitive pulling, pushing, twisting, bending, heavy lifting and standing A Few Extra Ingredients Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and the ability to effectively communicate across various departments in English Ability to work independently without regular supervision Ability to use a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail Must be a team player with a positive attitude Respect for authority and company policy and safety-conscious at all times The Crump Group USA is committed to equity and diversity in employment.
