Shop Electrician

Shop electrician role responsible for electrical assembly, conduit routing, wiring, and component installation on compressor packages. Job Requirements Associate degree from a two-year college or technical school preferred, or 6 months to 1 year of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, process sheets, schematic drawings, and verbal work instructions Knowledge of conduit routing, bending, and wiring Ability to plan and route conduit based on technical drawings Ability to pull and terminate various types of wiring Ability to install electrical devices, instrumentation, and related components Familiarity with Excel spreadsheets Ability to read and understand instructions, correspondence, and memos Ability to write simple correspondence Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals Ability to solve practical problems involving multiple variables Ability to interpret written, oral, diagram, and schedule-based instructions Ability to stand regularly and frequently walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, and hear Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds Ability to meet vision requirements including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment Preferred Skills Basic welding experience Experience using conduit benders to route conduit around obstacles Experience installing electrical components on compressor packages Experience importing cable tags using Excel Experience coordinating routing plans and corrective actions with production teams Experience cross-training in related assembly functions Job Responsibilities Prepare and assemble electrical components for compressor packages Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, process sheets, schematic drawings, and verbal work instructions Plan and route conduit based on technical drawings Use conduit benders to form conduit around obstacles Install electrical devices, instrumentation, and related components on compressor packages Pull and terminate various types of wiring Use a welder to attach strut for conduit mounting on compressor packages Use Excel spreadsheets to import cable tags Coordinate with production team members on routing plans and corrective actions Cross-train in other assembly functions as needed

Pay:
