Shop help

Our fabrication shop is looking for a helper who's interested in learning about the the steel fabrication/construction industry.

Job responsibilities are as follows:

• Keep machines clean and in good operating condition
• Cleaning metal debris in and around saws/punches/plasma units etc.
• Emptying trash once per week
• Sweeping the floor and helping keep others' work areas clean
• Assisting fabricators with grinding parts, holding misc. parts in place etc...
• Assisting forklift operators with moving material including but not limited to spotting for blind spots, placing wood underneath loads for operator, fetching misc.

rigging supplies etc... This is an entry level job but demands someone who pays attention to their surroundings and is willing to learn and expand their skills in the trade. Onsite training will be offered. Room for growth as you further your skills.

• 8hr shift (6am-2:30pm), Monday-Friday
• Overtime offered
