Job Title:

Shop Helper Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and mechanically inclined Shop Helper to join our team. This position offers a day shift from Monday to Friday, 7am to 3:45pm. You will be assisting in the operation of a burn/laser table, contributing to a dynamic and busy industrial environment. Responsibilities Assist in the operation of a burn/laser table. Utilize crane/jib to move plate and cut parts. Manage steel plate inventory. Load and unload machines. Stack finished parts on pallets. Move inventory with a forklift. Essential Skills Mechanical inclination and aptitude. 1-3 years of industrial manufacturing experience. Proficiency with hand tools. Basic math comprehension, especially in identifying measurements on a tape measure. Ability to lift 50-75lbs. Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Interest in metal fabrication. Experience with power tools and blueprint reading. Familiarity with machine operating, fabrication, and plasma cutting. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wilsonville, OR. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
