Shop Helper Part-Time/Seasonal Help

JFC Contractors is looking for a reliable, hands-on shop helper/mechanic assistant for part-time or seasonal work during our busy seasons. This is a great opportunity for:

• Someone who's retired and looking to stay active
• A college student or young worker looking to earn good money
• Anyone who enjoys working with their hands and being outdoors .

This is a working position , not a sit-around job. You'll be helping in the shop, yard, and occasionally in the field.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Assist with basic equipment and truck maintenance. Check fluids, grease machines, and help with simple repairs
• Help organize and maintain the shop and yard
• Pick up parts and run errands when needed
• Assist senior mechanic and outside service technicians
• Help move equipment around the shop/yard (based on ability)
• Occasionally assist in the field: Greasing machine and basic support on job sites
• Help with deliveries and general labor tasks

Pay:

$18.00 - $23.00 per hour People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply

Education:

High school or equivalent (Preferred)

License/Certification:

Driver's License (Required) Willingness to travel: 25% (Preferred)
