About Us Swedish Gift Store is a leading national Scandinavian-inspired retail brand based in "America's Little Sweden," Lindström, Minnesota. We celebrate Nordic craftsmanship, design, and lifestyle through our online store and local showroom. Our online team is expanding, and we're looking for a creative, detail-oriented Shopify specialist to enhance our eCommerce experience, optimize performance, and manage Shopify apps that power marketing and operations. Position Overview The Shopify Website Layout and Optimization Assistant will design and refine online store layouts, implement user-friendly product pages, and ensure smooth integration of third-party Shopify apps. This role requires both technical proficiency and an eye for Scandinavian-inspired aesthetics that match our brand. Key Responsibilities Website Layout & Design Assist with customize and refine Shopify themes (currently Warehouse / GemPages) Design engaging landing pages and collection layouts that reflect the Swedish Gift Store aesthetic. Implement responsive layouts optimized for desktop and mobile. Page Optimization Conduct ongoing site audits for speed, SEO, and conversion performance. Optimize product pages for SEO, readability, and sales conversion. Collaborate with marketing to implement A/B tests, improve site flow, and enhance UX. Qualifications Experience with Shopify theme customization and app management . Proficient with

HTML/CSS

, basic Liquid editing, and page builders (GemPages, Shogun, or similar). Understanding of

SEO, CRO

(Conversion Rate Optimization) , and UX design principles . Familiar with Shopify analytics , Google Analytics , and Meta Pixel setup . Excellent communication and time management skills. Preferred Tools Shopify, Klaviyo, Gempages, Use of AI, Canva etc. AI tools for automation or layout generation (optional but a plus) What We Offer Flexible schedule and growth opportunities.
