This may include, but not limited to, giving information on the facility, products and services, assisting with reservations, and collecting payments. This role may also be referred to as Member Services Specialist.
Hours:
Wednesday to Sunday 2pm to 10pm - depending on customer needs Essential Duties and Responsibilities Safely operate any vehicle for the department's shuttle fleet (mid-size to high capacity vehicles) for extended periods of timePrepare and update shuttle logs, incident reports, and End of Shift ReportsOperate multiple communication systems including: Microsoft Outlook, VIOP Phones, Cellphones, and UHF/VHF Radio systemsEducate the customer regarding the property, surrounding area, events and local attractionsCollaborate with multiple departments in a professional matterConduct regularly scheduled inspection and maintenance of shuttle vehiclesFollow and comply with all directions given by dispatcher on shiftPolitely enforce MARSEC (Maritime Security) standards, policies, and proceduresRespond to emerging customer needs without sacrificing safety. This may include; bulk trash collection, on/off loading of provisions or hardware, and set-up/break-down of all eventsOther duties as assigned by Manager Safety and Environmental Responsibilities Follow SHM Safety and Environmental rules and complete required related trainingWear proper personal protective equipment as required for the task or work areaReport all accidents, injuries, spills and near misses immediately Minimum Technical Qualifications Proficient in Microsoft products such as; Excel, Word, and OutlookAble to use 2-way radios and UHF radiosIs able to multi-task on multiple electronics Possess a positive attitude with people and wide range situation/requestsAbility to make quick decisions based on trends or available informationAbility to communicate in polite and clear mannerAbility to adapt to customer/facility needsAbility to assist guest and maximize satisfaction without sacrificing safetyAbility to follow instructions and adapt to customer needsAbility and willingness to backfill other roles within the department when the schedule demands Minimum Soft Skill Qualifications Eagerness to engage in a growing, fast paced, and industry-leading companyConsistently treats others with dignity and respectGenuinely serves others with humility and a positive attitudeFrequently demonstrates a bias toward actionAlways communicates effectively and courteously with fellow teammates and membersContinuously follows policies and procedures while seeking out new and better ways of accomplishing dutiesShows resolve and overcomes difficulties in a positive and productive mannerGladly provides responsive, and high level of service to our teammates and membersEagerly puts forth the extra effort to accomplish dutiesAdapts quickly and efficiently to changing priorities in order to meet teammate or member needs Safe Harbor Marinas provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applications for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability or genetics.
