Interested applicants should report to any State Workforce Agency (SWA) career center for help in contacting the employer. Referral by a career center provides program guarantees and protections that may not be available to a worker not referred. Workers must have valid identification for I-9 preparation when they report to the employer location to begin work. The employer may use the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services E-Verify Program to verify employment eligibility. C. Workers referred to this job by a SWA should report to a career center between 5 and 9 work days before the job start date to verify the job start date is the same. Failure to do so may disqualify the worker from the assurances of this Job Order. Worksites are located in Hillsborough and Manatee Counties . Housing is located in Wimauma, FL (Hillsborough County). D.
Job Offer:
The farm work position includes duties associated with transporting workers and the directing and monitoring of casual and seasonal help during planting and harvesting. Workers will pick up fellow workers, take them to the worksite and drive them back to their housing unit at the end of the workday. This work requires adherence to important food safety and quality standard operating procedures and the ability to work quickly and consistently alongside fellow workers with a positive, professional, team-based attitude and a consideration for the safety and health of fellow workers. General maintenance Workers to follow supervisors instructions to determine what degree of maintenance may be required. Maintenance may pertain to weeding, cleaning, trimming, plastic work, and/ or any work required to keep the crop functioning. Workers should be able to work on their feet in bent positions for long periods of time. Allergies to ragweed, goldenrod, insect spray, related chemicals, etc may affect workers' ability to perform the job. Workers should be physically able to do the work required with or without reasonable accommodations. Workers are exposed to wet weather early in the morning and heat throughout the day while working in the fields. Temperatures may range from 10 to 100 F. Workers may be required to work during occasional showers not severe enough to stop field operations. Workers will report to work at the designated time and place as directed by the grower each day. The standard work is 6 hours per day. In peak periods of seasonal crop demands, employees may be requested but not required to work up to 12 or more hours per day and/or on the Sabbath or Federal holidays depending upon the conditions in the fields, weather, orders, and maturity of the crop. Employees may volunteer to work additional hours when work is available. Workers should expect occasional periods of little or no work because of weather, crop or other conditions beyond the employer's control. These periods can occur any time throughout the season. All operational specifications can change during the season due to crop or market condition. Workers will be expected to conform to the specific instructions given for each day's work. A farm manager, supervisor, or a designated employee will provide instructions and general supervision. The grower or supervisor will make daily individual work assignments, team or crew assignments, and determine location of work as the needs of the operation dictates. Workers may be assigned a variety of duties in any given day and different tasks on different days. Person seeking employment as a shuttle driver and must be available for the entire period requested by the employer and possess 2 months experience. All domestic and/or nonresident seasonal workers employed pursuant to this job order who satisfactorily completed the previous crop season may be compensated above the stated hourly wage rate. The decision to pay above the stated prevailing hourly rate will be made by the employer, at his sole discretion, and will be based on factors including the recipient's performance and tenure. Employer retains the right to discharge an obviously unqualified worker, malingerer, or recalcitrant worker who is physically able but does not demonstrate the willingness to perform the work necessary for the employer to grow a premium product. All terms and conditions in the job order will apply equally to all workers, domestic and foreign, employed under this job order.
Pay:
Florida Adverse Effect Wage Rate (AEWR) - $16.41 per hour ¾ Guarantee is in effect.

Withholding:
Federal Income Tax, Social Security and Medicare, and any deductions agreed to by the worker in writing. Work rules will be found in the Clearance Order. E. Contract period is June 1, 2026 to July 31, 2026 .

36 hours per week
Days/Hours:
Monday thru Saturday 6 hours per day . Work may be offered but not required on Sundays and holidays. Extra work hours may be offered based on weather and other conditions. F. Employer will refund workers living outside commuting distance the reasonable transportation and subsistence costs to report for the first day of work on the 50% date. Will provide workers who complete the contract period the reasonable cost of transportation and subsistence to return to place of recruitment or to report to the next H-2A job. G. Housing and Board.
Housing:
Will provide free housing for workers who arrive from outside daily commuting distance. Family housing is not available. Meals (Board): Employer will furnish free and convenient cooking and kitchen facilities so that workers may prepare their own meals. No charge will be made for the provided beds, appliances, cooking utensils and similar items furnished to workers to whom housing is provided hereunder unless unlawfully removed or damaged beyond normal wear and tear. Employer will provide (on a voluntary basis) weekly transportation to assure workers access to stores where they can purchase groceries. If for any reason the kitchen facilities become unavailable due to fire or calamity, the employer will provide 3 meals per day for which a deduction shall be made until the kitchen facilities become operable. Housing meets the requirements of Federal, State and Local regulations. Rules regarding living accommodations will be found in the Clearance Order. Transportation provided by the employer meets the requirements of Federal, State and Local regulations. H. Prohibition against preferential treatment of aliens: The employer's job offer must offer to U.S. workers no less than the same benefits, wages, and working conditions that the employer is offering, intends to offer, or will provide to H-2A workers. Job offers may not impose on U.S. workers any restrictions or obligations that will not be imposed on the employer's H-2A workers. This does not relieve the employer from providing to H-2A workers at least the same level of minimum benefits, wages, and working conditions which must be offered to U.S. workers. I.
