Responsibilities Measure and prepare surfaces to ensure proper siding installation according to project specifications. Use hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment to install a variety of siding materials including vinyl, wood, stucco, metal, and fiber cement. Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately execute siding projects. Perform heavy lifting of siding panels and related materials safely and efficiently on construction sites. Apply caulking, trim carpentry, and other finishing techniques to achieve a polished exterior appearance. Collaborate with team members to ensure safety protocols are followed at all times during installation processes. Conduct quality checks throughout the project to ensure siding is installed correctly and meets industry standards. Requirements Proven experience with construction estimating, blueprint reading, or related trades such as roofing, framing carpentry, or masonry is preferred. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and other construction site equipment. Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks consistently throughout the workday. Knowledge of schematics, technical drawings, or restoration techniques is a plus. Strong understanding of construction safety practices and site protocols. Prior experience working on construction sites or in remodeling projects is highly desirable. Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail to ensure precise installation standards.
