  • Full-time Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Installer to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation of various interior and exterior signs, ensuring that all installations meet quality standards and customer satisfaction. This role requires a strong understanding of installation techniques and the ability to work efficiently in diverse environments.   • Responsibilities Install wayfinding and ADA-compliant signage within commercial and public buildings (e.
g., hospitals, schools, office complexes) Read and interpret sign location plans, floor layouts, and installation instructions Safely transport and handle signage to avoid damage to materials or surroundings Accurately measure and mark walls for precise placement, ensuring level and aligned installation Use appropriate hand and power tools to mount signage on drywall, glass, tile, metal, or specialty interior surfaces Communicate with site contacts or facility managers to coordinate install locations and timing Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools and materials on-site Document completed installations via photo and checklist submission Follow all safety protocols when using ladders, lifts, or working in occupied facilities Report site issues or obstacles that may require design or mounting adjustments
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required 1-2 years of experience in sign installation, general carpentry, or finish work preferred Strong attention to detail and spatial accuracy Ability to read and follow site drawings and installation guides Proficient with common hand and power tools Comfortable working independently in commercial settings Valid driver's license with clean driving record Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders Exterior Sign Installer
  • Responsibilities Install large-format, dimensional, and architectural signage on building facades, pylons, monument bases, or landscape features Read blueprints, site plans, and elevations to locate exact mounting points and structural supports Safely operate equipment, such as bucket trucks, lifts, drills, concrete anchors, or welding tools Verify electrical connections for illuminated signs, coordinating with electricians as needed Anchor signage to a variety of surfaces, including masonry, metal, stucco, or concrete Assess and prepare mounting surfaces, sometimes requiring surface cleaning or light modification Ensure all signage is level, weatherproofed, and structurally secure Manage weather-dependent scheduling, rescheduling or adapting based on site conditions Maintain DOT compliance for vehicle operation and load safety Communicate with project managers and site supervisors regarding installation progress or challenges
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required 2+ years of experience in exterior sign installation, construction, or related trade work Strong understanding of structural mounting methods and outdoor materials Proficient with ladders, lifts, and light construction equipment (bucket truck, etc.) Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints Valid driver's license (CDL preferred or willingness to obtain) OSHA 10 (or higher) certification preferred Comfortable working at heights and in outdoor conditions year-round Must be able to lift 75+ lbs and handle physical labor
