Qualifications and Experience:

Minimum score of 3.5 on the Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment (EIPA) required. Experience in educational or school-based interpreting, preferably at the high school level. Proficiency in American Sign Language and familiarity with Deaf culture. Willingness to obtain the Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC) interpreter licensure. Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and act professionally at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide dedicated 1:1 interpreting services for a high school freshman, facilitating clear communication between the student, teachers, and peers.
