Site Supervisor Coastal Maine General Contracting - Ellsworth and Mount Desert Island, Maine Full-Time | $71,000-$98,000/year (based on experience) About Us & The Role At Coastal Maine GC, we're a design-build construction company; focused on quality work, clear communication, and a strong team culture. We are looking for an experienced Site Supervisor to lead residential and commercial projects in the field. This role works directly with the Project Manager to stay ahead of upcoming work (1-3 months), coordinate field operations, and ensure projects are executed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. This role drives field execution by coordinating crews and subcontractors, maintaining jobsite safety and organization, and ensuring work aligns with plans, specs, and schedule expectations. The right person is a strong field leader who understands construction, communicates well, and keeps teams organized and accountable.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite at all times Lead the day by being first on site and last to leave, prepared with the plan, materials, and clear direction for the team's goals Lead the field team with a focus on quality control, efficiency, and accountability. Ensure all work meets plans, specifications, and manufacturer installation standards while helping coordinate upcoming work and project phases Work closely with the Project Manager to understand plans, specs, addendums, schedules, and priorities. Maintain clear communication on progress, risks, and changes Coordinate field logistics including materials, subcontractors, equipment, inspections, and deliveries to keep work moving smoothly Ensure all work follows drawings, specifications, and manufacturer installation instructions Set monthly goals with the team and ensure production stays aligned with schedule and budget targets Maintain daily jobsite logs, project updates, and documentation including progress tracking and as-builts Lead and maintain a positive, accountable jobsite culture.
