Overview of Position:
The Ski and Ride School Payroll Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that all payroll processes are completed accurately, efficiently, and in a timely manner. This full-time seasonal position requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage sensitive information with discretion. Maintaining strict confidentiality is essential, as the coordinator will handle employee payroll data and other private records. This role will begin the first week of August.Job Responsibilities and Duties:
Adhere to WMC policies (including the Culture of Excellence and Code of Conduct), the Team Member Handbook, and general accounting procedures to ensure all duties are performed accordingly Ensure the efficient, timely, and accurate preparation of payroll, including; Assisting supervisors with proper use of the timekeeping system; allocating the appropriate accounting codes; assisting Human Resources with onboarding to ensure employees are activated in the system for payroll; and proofing payroll and preparing accurate reports for the Ski and Ride School Director, managers, supervisors, Human Resources, and Accounting Upload timecard data to the payroll company Be present to oversee lessons, events, and related activities to ensure accurate instructor payroll is submitted daily Track and maintain accurate instructor certifications and pay rates Assist Human Resources, Accounts Payable, and other departments as needed Assist managers with point-of-sale transactions and guest experience initiatives Duties are subject to change based on business needs and circumstancesWork Schedule and Conditions:
We are in the business of providing an Above and Beyond product and guest experience. Traditionally our busy periods are during weekends and holidays which you will be expected to work. You can also expect to be asked to work extra hours or days on occasion, especially during the holidays.Requirements:
Job Qualifications and Skills:
Demonstrated experience in payroll preparation and familiarity with payroll processing systems Strong computer proficiency required, including advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word; experience with ProCard and RTP systems preferred Background in Ski & Ride School instruction and lesson scheduling is highly desirable Self-motivated with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset Solid understanding of general accounting principles and procedures Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy Strong data entry skills, including accurate typing and proficiency Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively under pressure while meeting strict deadlinesPhysical Requirements:
