Job Description

Overview Hiring immediately!!!! Join our dynamic team as a Ski Lift Mechanic Supervisor and lead the maintenance and repair operations of our ski lift systems! In this energetic role, you will oversee a skilled team responsible for ensuring the safety, reliability, and efficient operation of all lift equipment. Your expertise and in hydraulics, electrical systems, and mechanical maintenance will be vital in maintaining top-tier safety standards and delivering exceptional customer experiences on the slopes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine technical mastery with leadership in a fast-paced, outdoor environment dedicated to winter recreation. We require Vermont licensure II/III. Dependent on the applicant we are open to the possibility of a Seasonal position, or Year round. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities for ski lift machinery and associated systems Lead field service operations, ensuring timely response to lift issues or emergencies to minimize downtime Conduct inspections using schematics and technical manuals to diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems accurately Oversee adherence to safety protocols and industry regulations, promoting a culture of safety among team members Train and mentor technicians on proper maintenance procedures, including hydraulic systems, electrical wiring, and industrial mechanics Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, inspections, and parts inventory Collaborate with other departments to schedule preventive maintenance and coordinate lift operations during peak seasons Qualifications Proven experience in industrial mechanic work with a focus on hydraulics, electrical systems, or mechanical maintenance Strong knowledge of schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools for complex machinery Hands-on experience with field service operations in outdoor or industrial environments Familiarity with industrial maintenance practices specific to ski lifts or similar large-scale transportation systems Excellent customer service skills to effectively communicate with team members and external contractors Ability to lead a team effectively while managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines Valid Vermont certifications or training in hydraulics, electrical work, or industrial mechanics are highly preferred Join us in delivering safe and reliable ski lift experiences that keep thrill-seekers coming back season after season! Pay:
$26.00 - $32.00 per hour
