Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Skid Steer Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating skid steer loaders and other heavy equipment to assist with various construction projects. Your expertise will help ensure efficient site operations, safety, and the timely completion of tasks. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing your mechanical knowledge and heavy equipment operation skills to make a tangible impact on our construction sites. Duties Operate skid steer loaders with precision, adhering to safety protocols and project specifications Assist with excavation, grading, loading, and material handling using equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, and water trucks Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are maintained Support construction activities including paving, horizontal drilling, tanker operations, and site cleanup Collaborate with team members to coordinate the movement of materials like dump trucks and graders across the site Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment to prevent accidents or injuries Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, inspections, and maintenance activities Qualifications At least 2 years experience Familiar with operating heavier equipment (trackhoe and dozer) is a plus Know how to shoot grade Strong mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment maintenance and troubleshooting use a grapple Grade out around structures and buildings Knowledge of construction processes including paving and grading techniques Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team environmentJoin us if you're eager to bring your heavy equipment expertise to a fast-paced construction setting where your skills will directly contribute to building something great! Pay:
$18.00 - $24.00 per hour
