In this vital role, you will oversee clinical practices, mentor staff, and ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care across pediatric populations, particularly in early intervention settings. Your expertise will help foster a collaborative environment focused on improving communication and swallowing skills for children with diverse needs. Duties Supervise and mentor speech-language pathologists, ensuring adherence to clinical standards and best practices Provide direct oversight of patient assessments, treatment planning, and therapy sessions for pediatric patients Support speech therapists in developing individualized treatment plans tailored to each child's unique needs Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care strategies for patients Conduct regular clinical reviews, performance evaluations, and ongoing training sessions for staff Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including documentation, medical terminology accuracy, and confidentiality protocols Assist in the development and implementation of policies related to early intervention programs and pediatric speech therapy services Qualifications Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist with current certification (e.g., ASHA CCC-SLP) Proven experience working with pediatric populations in school or early intervention settings Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to speech and swallowing disorders Demonstrated ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop effective treatment plans Excellent communication skills with the ability to mentor team members and collaborate across disciplines Prior experience supervising or mentoring other speech-language pathologists is preferred Familiarity with pediatric speech therapy techniques, early intervention programs, and patient care standards Join us in making a meaningful difference in children's lives through expert speech therapy supervision!
