Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students as a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist on a contract basis. This opportunity is ideal for a dedicated SLP looking to provide exceptional support to children and young adults in an educational environment. With a flexible schedule of 8-10 hours each week (across two days), you'll collaborate with educators and families to help students overcome communication challenges and reach their fullest potential.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current and valid state licensure or eligibility Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Experience in school-based settings is highly preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills Passion for supporting diverse student populations
Responsibilities:
Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders among students Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Conduct therapy in both individual and group settings to target specific student needs Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support multidisciplinary learning Track student progress and maintain thorough documentation Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational programming Provide consultation and resources for staff and families as needed
