Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity where your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist can make a meaningful difference in the lives of students. Collaborate closely with educators and families to support students' communication development in a dynamic school environment, conveniently accessible from Calhoun, GA.
Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required State Speech-Language Pathology licensure (or eligibility) Previous experience in a K-12 educational setting is preferred Strong communication, organization, and teamwork abilities Commitment to fostering supportive, inclusive learning environments
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct evaluations and deliver speech-language therapy services for students with diverse communication needs Develop, implement, and update individualized education plans (IEPs) in accordance with school policies and federal regulations Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student progress Document and track student progress, providing clear feedback and recommendations Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to student support teams Deliver engaging individual and group therapy sessions tailored to students' strengths and goals
