Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Embark on an exciting contract opportunity serving students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the full school year. This assignment is located in a beautiful community near Sterling, AK and is perfect for professionals looking to grow their career, explore new surroundings, and make a real difference. Desired Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Current or eligible SLP licensure for the state of Alaska SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY considered Experience in school settings preferred, but clinicians new to schools are encouraged to apply Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Role Highlights:
Provide speech and language therapy to students across a variety of ages and needs, in both individual and small group settings Screen, assess, and identify students with speech, language, voice or fluency disorders Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and monitor progress on Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Document services and maintain accurate records in accordance with district and state guidelines Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and school support initiatives
