Coordinated Campaign Regional Organizing Director Description:
The Alaska Democratic Party is seeking dedicated Organizers to organize communities across Alaska in 2026. We are looking for passionate, hard-working individuals who are committed to building the grassroots organizing operation needed to elect Mary Peltola to the U.S. Senate and Democrats up and down the ballot. Organizers will report directly to a Regional Organizing Director. This is a full-time position based in Alaska. To apply, please use this form: . Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis. Job Responsibilities Recruit, train, and manage a diverse team of volunteers and part-time fellows (in certain areas) across Alaska to conduct direct voter contact; Coordinate volunteer events including but not limited to in person canvasses, phone banks, and community meetings; Utilize a number of tactics and tools to hit daily and weekly metric goals; Create a positive volunteer experience that engages new people in the volunteer process and keeps people engaged throughout the cycle. Conduct outreach to voters via phones, doors, texting, and other creative tactics; All other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Previous campaign experience as staff or volunteer preferred but not required. Willingness to work in the field office and in the community you are assigned. Flexible, adaptable, and solutions-oriented. Commitment to developing and fostering an inclusive environment open to individuals of diverse backgrounds. Ability to track and report data in a timely, consistent, and accurate manner. A desire to work long campaign hours, including evenings and weekends in 2025. Ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines. Access to a car, cell phone, laptop, and ability to easily travel.
Compensation :
The pay for this position starts at $23/hour and will work starting at 40 hours per week and should expect hours to increase as we approach the election with notice given. All full-time employees are offered a comprehensive benefits package, 100% covered by ADP. This includes medical, dental, and vision. Benefits become active on your first day of employment. Employees can add partners and dependents to health benefits but are responsible for covering the additional cost.
