We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate SLP Speech Language Pathologist to provide exceptional care to our residents at our East Moline, Illinois facility. As a Speech Language Pathologist at Hope Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our residents and their families.
Job Summary:
As a Speech Language Pathologist , you will be responsible for assessing, treating, and managing communication and swallowing disorders in our residents. You will develop and implement individualized treatment plans, provide education and training to residents, families, and staff, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
Responsibilities:
Conduct initial evaluations and continued assessments of residents' communication and swallowing disorders Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address residents' specific needs Provide treatment sessions, including speech therapy, language therapy, and swallowing therapy Educate and train residents, families, and staff on communication and swallowing techniques Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and physical therapists Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident assessments, treatments, and progress Stay current with industry developments and best practices through ongoing education and professional development
Requirements:
Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program Clinical Fellowship (CF) completed Illinois Speech Language Pathology license
