Position Summary Modoc Medical Center (MMC) is accepting applications for Full-Time, benefit-eligible Registered Nurses (RN) for our Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) in Alturas, CA. The Registered Nurse provides high-quality, resident-centered nursing care in a supportive and professional long-term care environment. This role focuses on safety, clinical excellence, and compassionate care while collaborating closely with the interdisciplinary care team. Essential Responsibilities Perform comprehensive and ongoing resident assessments and report abnormal findings to providers Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and standards of practice Safely administer medications and treatments as ordered Accurately document assessments, interventions, and resident responses Communicate effectively with residents, families, and members of the care team Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and regulatory compliance Collaborate with nursing and ancillary staff to support a positive and respectful living environment Promote resident dignity, comfort, and quality of life Minimum Qualifications Current California RN license Current CPR certification Strong clinical judgment and critical-thinking skills Effective verbal and written communication skills in English Dependable, organized, and able to work collaboratively as part of a team Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting Knowledge of geriatric and long-term care populations Demonstrates empathy, adaptability, and professionalism Physically and mentally capable of meeting the demands of the role Benefits Sign-On Bonus for
