• $150,000 /yr Posted March 26, 2026 Our client in the robotics industry is seeking an onsite Social Media Manager + Strategist to support day-to-day engagement and community management across all social channels.

This is an in-person role based in South San Francisco with 10-20% travel across the United States.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing daily community engagement across various social media channels (Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube, etc.)
• Interacting and engaging with audiences by responding to comments, DMs, mentions, and trends
• Representing the brand online as the primary voice across all social platforms
• Build and execute a community engagement plan
• Tracking and reporting engagement
• Leading the cross-channel posting schedule and coordinating deadlines with internal teams
• Support launches, announcements, and key moments with elevated moderation
• Surface insights to inform content, messaging, and broader communications strategy
• Maintain brand voice and visual identity while experimenting creatively

Experience & Skill Set:

• 6+ years managing social media communities, ideally helping to build programs and work within innovative industries/spaces
• Exceptional writing skills with strong instincts for audience context, tone, and nuance
• Experience engaging with large audiences in a fast-paced, high visibility environment
• Social media planning experience, with growth targets and executing against that
• Ability to multitask, maintain strong judgement, and stay calm during live conversations or high-pressure situations
• Excellent organizational skills, with attention to detail and project management skills
• Ability to work cross functionally and manage multiple projects
• Copywriting experience, with strong storytelling instincts is a plus
• Experience working with creators and influencers is a plus
