Job Description
Position Summary:
We are seeking a creative, strategic, and highly organized Social Media & Marketing Director to lead the brand presence, digital marketing, and customer engagement efforts for two restaurant concepts. This role is responsible for developing and executing marketing campaigns, managing social media platforms, increasing brand awareness, driving guest traffic, and maintaining a consistent brand voice across both locations. The ideal candidate combines strong content creation skills with marketing strategy, hospitality experience, and data-driven decision-making. Key ResponsibilitiesSocial Media Management Develop and execute social media strategies for both restaurant brands across platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Google Business. Create, schedule, and publish engaging content including photos, videos, stories, reels, and promotional campaigns. Maintain consistent branding, tone, and visual identity for each restaurant. Monitor social media trends and recommend innovative content ideas. Engage with followers, respond to comments/messages, and manage online reputation. Marketing & Brand Development Plan and implement marketing campaigns to increase reservations, foot traffic, catering inquiries, and special event attendance. Coordinate seasonal promotions, menu launches, holiday campaigns, and community partnerships. Develop local marketing initiatives and collaborations with influencers, businesses, and media outlets. Manage email marketing campaigns and customer loyalty initiatives. Oversee website updates, online listings, and digital advertising efforts. Content Creation Capture and edit high-quality photo and video content for social media and advertising. Coordinate branded photoshoots and promotional materials. Write compelling captions, promotional copy, and marketing materials. Analytics & Reporting Track and analyze social media performance, engagement metrics, advertising ROI, and campaign effectiveness. Provide monthly performance reports with recommendations for growth. Monitor competitor activity and industry trends. Event & Community Marketing Promote live events, private dining, specials, entertainment nights, and community initiatives. Build relationships with local influencers, vendors, tourism organizations, and media contacts. Represent the restaurants at community and networking events when needed. Team Collaboration Work closely with ownership, managers, chefs, and operations teams to align marketing with business goals. Coordinate with graphic designers, photographers, and external vendors as needed. Assist in maintaining brand standards across all customer touchpoints. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field preferred. 3+ years of experience in social media management, digital marketing, or hospitality marketing. Restaurant or hospitality industry experience strongly preferred. Strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Google Business, and digital advertising platforms. Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or similar design/editing tools. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple brands and projects simultaneously. Photography and videography skills are a plus.
