Social Media Specialist Wanted Immediately

ERC is seeking a full-time Social Media Specialist to manage and update our online presence across social media platforms and our website. This role focuses on communicating updates related to ongoing Proposition 65 cases, including notices of violation, complaints, settlements, and other legal developments. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to communicate legal and case-related information in a clear, professional, and engaging way. Responsibilities Update ERC's website with case developments and legal notices Create and publish social media content related to notices of violation, complaints, settlements, and other case activity Monitor and maintain consistency across social media platforms Assist with drafting captions, graphics, and informational posts Ensure information shared publicly is accurate and up to date Work closely with internal staff to communicate case updates in a timely manner Qualifications Strong written communication skills Familiarity with social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok Basic website management experience preferred Ability to handle sensitive or technical information professionally Experience with Canva or similar design tools is a plus Organized, reliable, and able to manage multiple updates at once What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is adaptable, detail-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where information changes frequently. Experience in social media, communications, marketing, or administrative work is preferred, but strong communication skills and willingness to learn are equally important.
