About the
Role:
As a CBRE Regional Occupancy Planning Lead, you will manage the team responsible for providing space planning, data mining, reporting, and interpretation of metrics for client needs. This job is part of the Moves, Additions and Changes function. They are responsible for building space design, construction, and moving services
What You'll Do:
Provide formal supervision to employees. Monitor the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching. Oversee the recruiting and hiring of new employees. Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed. Develop and maintain positive key client relationships. Conduct meetings on escalated unresolved facility issues. Communicate with clients regarding property profiles, emergency preparedness plans, site inspections, and other related reports. Research and implement new processes and technology to improve operational efficiency. Create and recommend strategic facility management objectives for clients. Review various budget reports for multiple facilities. Direct facility inspections for quality assurance on a periodic basis. Ensure facility procedures comply with local, state, and federal regulations. Oversee management of capital projects. Review various facility management reports. Apply a broad knowledge of the business, own discipline, and how own discipline integrates with others to achieve team and departmental objectives. Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with
CBRE RISE
values. Influence others to adopt a different point of view while being guided by policies and departmental plans. Identify and solve technical and operational problems of complexity. Understand and recognize the broader impact across the department. Improve and change existing methods, processes, and standards within the job discipline.
