Job Description
Our Spokane client is looking for a Planning Department Assistant. This is your opportunity to utilize your bachelor's and/or master's degree education and gain additional work experience. Compensation for the Planning Department Assistant $20 Per Hour Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm Ongoing temporary assignment Responsibilities of the Planning Department Assistant Provide direct support to the planning and development department Perform tasks including research, data analysis, report generation, drafting correspondence, assisting with meetings and outreach, conducting field observations Other duties as assigned Requirements of the Planning Department Assistant Bachelor's or Master's degree in policy and planning, urban planning, marketing, public health, civil engineering, public policy, or related fields Qualified undergraduate students will be considered where skills, experience, and interest merit consideration Driver's license Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Proficient in both oral and written communication Strong organizational and analytic skills Self-starter with ability to work independently Must possess the ability to handle sensitive issues with diplomacy and poise Seem like a good fit?
