Candidates must have excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to think creatively to solve complex problems. Consultants at NERA will have the opportunity to: Apply the technical skills and knowledge gained during their graduate studies Conduct high-powered economic research across a wide variety of industries Develop economic models to answer critical business and legal questions Perform cutting-edge economic analysis on complex real-life issues Write research reports and client presentations for senior staff and clients to help them make informed economic decisions Influence/direct project strategy, including the preparation and presentation of oral and written testimony Collaborate with in-house experts and outside academics Manage client relationships Develop and strengthen both project and people management skills NERA provides a challenging and rewarding professional experience with competitive compensation and benefits. New PhD's (2025 or 2026 grads) Cover Letter including geographic preferences CV Job Market Paper 3 Letters of Recommendation (sent to: ) The applicable base salary for this role is $225,000 - $235,000 per year. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, and education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
