Healthcare Compliance Consultant Position Profile Since 1995, BRAND
SERVICES
is one of North America's leading healthcare consulting firms. The firm, headquartered in Gales Ferry CT with offices in PA and NY, provides fire, emergency management, and life safety code compliance services exclusively to a healthcare client base of more than one hundred fifty facilities in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic states. The firm offers assessments, plan customization, training services, and onsite surveys in Joint Commission Statement of Conditions, Life Safety Code® surveys, and Emergency Management.
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Healthcare Compliance Consultant will be responsible for conducting comprehensive on-site surveys, developing in-depth reports, completing Statement of Conditions (SOC) documentation, and Environment of Care Document reviews.
SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES
The successful candidates will: Exhibit a strong, self-motivated work ethic; Possess effective communication skills at all organizational levels; Possess knowledge of the Life Safety Code® and demonstrate the ability to interpret and apply codes and standards; Excel at public speaking; Possess exceptional interpersonal and written communication
PRIMARY CHALLENGES
Among the opportunities within the role, the successful candidate will: Bring the willingness and availability to travel 75% of the time on a regional basis; Exhibit a high level of credibility while performing critical client evaluation, interpretation, and communication; Maintain a high level of visibility in the
QUALIFICATIONS
The successful candidate will have demonstrated the ability to teach, train, and educate a diverse group of clients and staff. A 4-year degree in fire protection or fire science is preferred, a 2-year degree coupled with experience will be considered. Preference will be applied to individuals with experience in code compliance, public speaking, training, and working knowledge in the healthcare industry.
