Position Summary Credence has an immediate need for a Technical Writing Assistant to support U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) in the development, maintenance, and lifecycle management of agency policy documentation. This is a 100% remote position supporting a mission-critical federal customer. The ideal candidate should possess exceptional organizational skills and an eye for detail that catches what others miss. Success in this role requires precision over volume — accurate citations, clean formatting, disciplined version control, and clear tracking of where every document stands in the review and approval cycle. The Technical Writing Assistant serves as the day-to-day steward of a large policy library, fielding research requests from government stakeholders, validating the authorities that underpin existing policy, formatting documents to CBP-approved standards, and shepherding materials through routing and concurrence.
