Job Description:
Saxman One is seeking an experienced SSO (Special Security Office) professional to support CIWT. The total hourly pay for this non-exempt position ( $32.25 per hour for up to 40 hours per week) is comprised of a base hourly rate of $27.16 plus $5.09 per hour Health & Welfare (H&W) for up to 40 hours per week as required by the Service Contract Labor Standards (SCLS) regulations. The above rate represents the company's good faith and reasonable estimate of possible compensation at the time of posting. In addition, for eligible positions we offer a variety of benefits including specified holidays, paid leave, health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, as well as 401K with company match. This job will be posted until filled or withdrawn. Duties may include but are not limited to the following: Review SSO files, record message traffic and Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS) database; or Defense Information System for Security (DISS) web application to determine current status of individual clearances and investigations. Conduct interviews to clarify personnel security information Add/Delete information in the JPAS/DISS, internal and external resource databases as directed. Track the status of student security clearances, determine level of access authorized, and issue appropriate security badges to personnel in accordance with current instructions. Prepare, review, and distribute muster reports Process all personnel and higher authority unit awards for approval/disapproval by the awards board. Review personnel awards, proofread for errors, and make corrections and forward Award recommendations to Commanding Officer for review and signature. Process staff military fitness reports, evaluation reports, Letters of Extension and Performance Information Memorandum (PIM) for completeness and forward to reporting senior for signature. Proofread and process all officer and enlisted promotions and advancements; prepare promotion, or selection notifications; and, related acceptance documents, frocking letters and advancement certifications as appropriate.
Job Requirements:
High School diploma Highly relevant experience TS/SCI clearance Strong working knowledge of DoD and DoN procedures and environment Ability to communicate effectively with mid-level military and civilian managers Skilled with current office equipment (including various office technology and applications - i.e. computers, Microsoft Office) As required by this contract, qualified candidates must have the ability to speak and communicate in English and be United States citizens. #CJ
