Job Description
Personnel Security Analyst
Personnel Security AnalystAs a Personnel Security Analyst, you will provide personnel security support and resolution of issues of low and medium complexity in a collaborative team office environment. In this role, you will assist the Government in operating a responsive and professional call center to address inquiries from the customer base in a timely manner. You will provide exceptional customer assistance and information to officials within the stakeholder base requiring personnel security services. Aberdeen, MDResponsibilities:
- Validate and process incoming investigation requests through the Personnel Security Investigation Portal (PSIP).
- Process incoming mail and hard copy fingerprint (FP) cards.
- Review e-QIP investigation form (SF-85, SF-85P, and SF-86) submissions to ensure compliance with ISP standards.
- Communicate with applicants to assure form standards are met for submission.
- Provide Customer Support Center (CSC)/help line services to applicants and requesters.
- Perform e-QIP Reviews for US Army Recruiting Command (USAREC).
- Process case terminations
- as investigation requests are identified as no longer required by requester or investigation request exceeds PSI-CoE allowed completion time.
- Submit initial and reinvestigation requests to the Investigation Service Provider (ISP).
- Assure that all required documents are complete and attached to the investigation request at submission.
- Screen investigation requests for derogatory information for the Continuous Evaluation (CE) program.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must have a High School diploma.
- Must have experience using Microsoft Windows based operating system (currently Windows 10) with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Must have customer service experience.
- Must be able to obtain (or have the ability to obtain) and maintain a Secret security clearance, based on a Tier 3 (T3) level (formerly NACLC) or equivalent investigation.
