Job Description

Intelligence Analyst TruView Background Screening and Investigations (TruView BSI) is looking for an efficient Senior Investigative Analyst to undertake a variety of analytical research duties. You will facilitate daily research and analysis functions such as database searches, criminal searches, social media searches and data analysis. You will be responsible for conducting in-depth analysis, coordinating investigative efforts, and delivering comprehensive reports to support decision-making and legal proceedings. You will be tasked with gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data and evidence to assist in the resolution of complex cases. You will work daily with management and investigators to maximize search results and casework completion. Ultimately, you should be able to contribute to the attainment of specific goals and results of the company. Major Responsibilities
    Case Analysis:
    Conduct thorough analysis of case-related information, including documents, reports, witness statements, and other relevant data, to identify key details, patterns, and inconsistencies.
      Evidence Collection:
      Collaborate with field investigators and other relevant parties to collect and preserve evidence, ensuring adherence to legal and procedural guidelines.
        Data Interpretation:
        Analyze and interpret data using various tools, software, and methodologies to uncover meaningful insights and patterns that can aid in solving cases or providing investigative leads.
          Research and Background Checks:
          Conduct extensive research, including online searches, database queries, and interviews, to gather information on suspects, persons of interest, or related entities.
            Report Writing:
            Prepare detailed and concise reports summarizing findings, analysis, and recommendations, ensuring accuracy and adherence to legal and organizational requirements.
              Collaboration:
              Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including investigators, management, and other analysts, to share information, coordinate efforts, and support investigative strategies.
                Compliance and Ethics:
                Maintain a strong understanding of legal and ethical guidelines governing investigative practices and ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and organizational policies. Qualifications and skills
                • Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, criminology, forensic science, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are advantageous.
                • Minimum of 5 years of experience in investigative analysis or a related field, preferably within law enforcement, intelligence agencies, or private investigation firms.
                • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to critically analyze complex data, identify patterns, and draw logical conclusions.
                • Proficient in conducting comprehensive research using a wide range of sources and tools, with the ability to gather and evaluate information effectively.
                • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear and concise reports, collaborate with diverse stakeholders, and present findings to non-technical audiences.
                • Familiarity with investigative software, data analysis tools, and databases commonly used in the field.
                • Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy when analyzing evidence, documenting findings, and preparing reports.
                • Strong ethical standards and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
