Educational and Experience Requirement HIDTA Intelligence Analyst II:
Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice or related field. Three years' experience in a law enforcement agency or analytical field. A combination of education, experience, and training that would produce the required knowledge and abilities will be considered.HIDTA Intelligence Analyst Ill:

A combination of education, experience, and training that would produce the required knowledge and abilities will be considered. Nature & Purpose of Position HIDTA Intelligence AnalystII & III
Conducts extensive research and multi-faceted inquiries that involves locating and identifying subjects, vehicles, evidence, and assets using numerous law enforcement networks and commercial databases. Establishes and maintains contact with counterparts in other intelligence organizations to eliminate duplication, enhance professional development, and keep abreast of current trends. Primary Responsibilities HIDTA Intelligence Analyst II Performs research using law enforcement and commercial databases. Organizes and summarizes vast amounts of data and prepares written reports and biographical data sheets. Analyzes subpoena returns from Cell phone and social media data requests. Ability to organize, disseminate this subscriber and toll information, and social media data into usable reports for investigators and Special Agents. Conducts telephone analysis. Prepares graphs, charts, PowerPoint presentations and other visual aids. Creates and gives professional presentations. Performs data input regarding subjects, vehicles and telephone subscriber information into criminal databases and investigative software. Performs other related duties as assigned. HIDTA Intelligence Analyst III Performs advanced research using law enforcement and commercial databases. Organizes and summarizes vast amounts of data and prepares written reports and biographical data sheets. Prepares subpoenas, organizes, and disseminates subscriber and toll information. Conducts telephone analysis. Prepares graphs, charts, PowerPoint presentations and other visual aids. Creates and gives professional presentations. Other Specifications HIDTA Intelligence Analyst II Requires the ability to multitask and perform in high pressure situations while presenting a professional demeanor that represents the HIDTA Houston Area Crime Gun Intelligence Center in an appropriate manner. Requires proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. HIDTA Intelligence Analyst III Should have the ability to communicate intelligence and analytical data to investigators in a manner comparable to the needs of the investigator. Ability to prepare complex reports, target packages, graphs, charts, a synopsis of the findings, and other intelligence products that aid in identifying, linking, and prosecuting criminal suspects. Requires the ability to multitask and perform in high pressure situations while presenting a professional demeanor that represents the HIDTA within the Houston Area Crime Gun Intelligence Center in an appropriate manner and perform in high pressure situations. Requires proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Requires proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance. This position is located in Houston, TX. This is a full-time, benefits eligible, temporary position. Continuation of the position is contingent upon continued funding.
