We foster programs in the areas of basic, translational, mechanistic and population research. Position Summary This position will perform work related to Dr. Mara Buchbinder's Greenwall grant. The Study of OB-GYNs in Post-Roe America ( SOPRA) is seeking a Social/Clinical Research Specialist to help with qualitative data collection and analysis. SOPRA is an R01 study funded by the National Institutes for Occupational Safety and Health that will examine mental health and work-related wellbeing in U.S. based obstetrician-gynecologists using a mixed-methods design. The Social/Clinical Research Specialist's responsibilities will include coordinating participant recruitment; scheduling and conducting qualitative interviews alongside project investigators; verifying and deidentifying transcripts of audio-recorded interviews; coding interview transcripts using qualitative data analysis software; reviewing literature; and assisting with the preparation of presentations and manuscripts. The Social/Clinical Research Specialist must be willing to commit 20 hours per week. Most work will occur during the standard work week, but occasionally interviews may be scheduled in the evenings and on weekends. Hourly pay will be commensurate with degree program and experience. Minimum Education and Experience Requirements Bachelor's degree in a discipline related to the field assigned and one year of related training or experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions. Management Preferences Knowledge or experience in public health, social sciences, or a related field.
