Research Support Specialist, Pediatrics University at Buffalo - 4.2 Buffalo, NY Job Details $38,000 - $45,000 a year 13 hours ago Qualifications Math Bachelor's degree Behavioral data collection Field data collection Full Job Description The Research Support Specialist will contribute to ongoing grocery shopping research in the Child Health and Behavior Lab. Under the direction of a research scientist, in the largest comprehensive research foundation in the country, you will carry out complex analytical tasks that require the theoretical and practical application of a body of highly specialized knowledge.
Assigned tasks may include:
Operate and make decisions within defined test or analytical protocols Carry out assignments that incorporate highly specialized training in a specific specialty and in the operation of applicable equipment Conduct test procedures Use specialized methods for data collation and interpretation Contribute to ongoing grocery shopping research in the Child Health and Behavior lab Contribute to study administration and intervention implementation (e.g., prefilled online grocery carts) Contribute to data collection with participants including phone/video interviews Contribute to data coding Learn more: Our benefits , where we prioritize your well-being and success to enhance every aspect of your life. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Psychology, Child Development, Biomedical Sciences, Public Health, or related field Requires the use of specialized techniques in the field of endeavor to make observations, collect data, use survey instruments and techniques, and make related calculations using mathematical formulae. Preferred Qualifications Experience in nutrition and dietetics, prior research experience. Salary Range $38,000 - $45,000 Additional Salary Information The salary range reflects our good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible compensation at the time of posting, the role and associated responsibilities, and the experience, education, and training of the selected candidate.
