•to senior-level Planner with experience in municipal planning to join the planning group in Redding, California. The role supports counties and cities with current and advanced planning tasks, including obtaining entitlements for well-planned projects.
The position requires strong people skills to build relationships with agency staff, as well as excellent organizational skills to manage multiple projects, track deadlines, and deliver quality results.
QualificationsStrong municipal planning background with a minimum of 4 years of experienceResearch skills using agency websites and GIS platformsExcellence in client care, expense tracking, and project managementLeadership skills and a desire to coach junior staffExcellent communication skillsIn-depth knowledge of CEQA/NEPA and permitting, including local, CDFW, Army Corps, and RWQCB requirementsExperience in grant writing and administration
