About the
Position:
As Chief, Plan Formulation Section, is responsible for planning, scheduling, supervising, and coordinating all assigned activities for major Civil Works (CW) programs, and directing the staff who manages them. Major CW programs include the General Investigations and Continuing Authorities Programs (CAP) and other planning studies.

Specialized Experience:
One year of specialized experience which includes experience in planning policy and procedures for developing water resource civil works projects, knowledge of legislation, and implementation guidance as it relates to Water Resource Development Acts, Flood Control Acts, and environmental laws as related to the National Environmental Policy Act and Endangered Species Act. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone•no substitution of education for experience is permitted. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Environmental Planning Leadership Policy and Compliance Program/Project Management Stakeholder Management Time in
Grade Requirement:
Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-13).
