- This position can be based in any of our North Region, United States offices. CDM Smith is the most widely used traffic and revenue consultant in the nation with exceptional respect and recognition in America's toll industry. As a member of the CDM Smith team in the North, you would contribute to our mission by:
- Performing Traffic Revenue and Demand Modeling for toll agencies throughout the North Region, including potentially being the Project Technical Leader for Traffic Revenue and Demand Modeling Projects.
Executing Advanced Data Analysis:
Analyzing large data sets in support of Traffic and Revenue studies and Demand Management studies, as well as in support of highway planning projects more broadly.- Performing overall task management, and QA/QC procedures.
- Being responsible for coordination and management of the technical content of projects including driving the technical vision of the end product, ensuring the technical accuracy of the work product, ensuring the right technical skill sets are on the project at the correct time, developing and mentoring technical project staff, and coordinating all aspects of the project with our clients.
- Being a mentor for junior staff by providing thorough editing of draft documents and QA/QC of deliverables. Skills & Abilities
- As technical and document review are key to this position, strong critical thinking, technical writing ability, and verbal communication skills are of the utmost importance.
- Ability to present in front of a large group.
- Superior task management skills and team-minded interpersonal skills.
AICP , PTP
, PE, CEP or approved certification in a related field. Or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Urban, Community or Regional Planning or related discipline. 10 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree or 9 years of experience with Master's degree. Domestic and/or international travel may be required. The frequency of travel is contingent on specific duties, responsibilities, and the essential functions of the position, which may vary depending on workload and project demands. Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree. Preferred Qualifications- Stated Preference Survey/Choice Model Development, Application, and Analysis
- Create, employ, and analyze stated preference surveys.
- Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, Transportation, or a related field. \#LI-MS1 \#LI
