JOB SUMMARY LIVIC

Civil is seeking a motivated candidate to fill a full-time Traffic Designer position in our growing traffic division. This role supports traffic and transportation engineering projects by performing plan production and design support tasks under the direction of engineers and senior staff. Contributes to deliverables such as signing and pavement marking, traffic signal plans, MPT (Maintenance and Protection of Traffic), intersection improvements, and HOP-related documentation, while applying agency standards and internal QA practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Produce traffic-related plans and details (signing/pavement marking, signal, MPT, lighting as applicable) and incorporate redlines/comments. Support data collection needs (counts, field observations) and organize project documentation. Assist with HOP application exhibits and supporting materials (as needed). Support preparation of quantities/tabulations and plan sheet organization. Coordinate with project teams to meet milestone deadlines and deliverable requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required :

o Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering/Civil Engineering Technology (or closely related) o 0-2 years of relevant traffic/transportation design, analysis support, or CADD experience o Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or OpenRoads Designer (ORD) o Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel o Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills o Authorized to work in the

United States Preferred :

o Familiarity with MUTCD and basic DOT/municipal standards o Exposure to traffic analysis tools (e.g., Synchro, HCS) or traffic signal concepts o PennDOT project exposure and/or HOP familiarity o Travel to other offices as needed

•An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered (including an Associate degree with additional relevant experience).

$52,172.69 - $62,831.63 per year
