- Planning Intern
- to join our team in
- Philadelphia, PA
•. The intern will work under the direction of a team of transportation, environmental planning, urban design, and public involvement professionals to support a variety of different planning projects throughout the region._This position is expected to begin in January 2027._The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:+ Assisting with report research, writing and setup.+ Visualization, mapping, and document design support.+ Support for in-person or virtual public outreach, including venue selection, minutes, and preparation of public-facing communications.+ Data management.
- Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- + Candidates must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Planning, Urban Studies, or another related discipline and must have completed at least 2 years of study.
Candidates who have recently graduated with a Bachelor's degree and plan to continue with the Master's degree are eligible to apply for these positions. Recent graduates must have been enrolled in their bachelor's degree in the most previous school term with an interest in pursuing an advanced degree in the same or similar discipline at the conclusion of the internship.
Preferred Qualifications:
- + Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign.
+ Strong technical writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
+ Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
+ Ability to learn on the job and apply theory in a practical setting.
+ Excellent organizational skills.

+ This position requires a hybrid work schedule which includes in office work in Philadelphia, PA. The selected candidate must be available to work in Philadelphia, PA on a scheduled basis.
