We are seeking a highly motivated Traffic Control Sales Representative who thrives in relationship-driven environments and is passionate about helping clients solve operational and roadway safety challenges through proactive service solutions. Position Summary The Traffic Control Sales Representative is responsible for driving revenue growth through strategic business development, relationship management, and consultative sales within the company's Traffic Control division. This role will focus heavily on developing new business opportunities while maintaining and expanding existing client relationships across multiple industries. This individual will act as a trusted advisor to prospective and current clients by assessing operational needs, identifying project requirements, and recommending customized traffic control and roadway safety solutions that align with project timelines, compliance standards, and client budgets. The ideal candidate is energetic, polished, self-driven, and capable of building strong professional relationships with contractors, utility providers, municipalities, project managers, developers, and construction leadership teams. Key Responsibilities Business Development & Revenue Growth Prospect, identify, and secure new business opportunities throughout the Atlanta market Generate qualified leads through networking, cold outreach, referrals, community involvement, and strategic partnerships Build and maintain relationships with: Construction companies Utility contractors Municipal agencies General contractors Infrastructure and roadway contractors Event organizers Commercial developers Property management groups Conduct on-site meetings, project walkthroughs, and operational assessments with prospective clients Develop customized traffic control proposals and service recommendations based on project scope and operational requirements Present and negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements Consistently meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals Traffic Control Solution Consulting Understand and effectively present company service offerings, including: Traffic Control Services Lane Closures MOT (Maintenance of Traffic) Support Temporary Traffic Control Planning Permitting Coordination Equipment Deployment Emergency Traffic Response Services Event Traffic Management Evaluate client operational needs related to roadway safety, compliance requirements, staffing, and project logistics Collaborate closely with operations leadership to ensure solutions are operationally sound and scalable Assist clients in developing proactive traffic management and project support strategies Client Relationship Management Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned and newly acquired accounts Maintain ongoing communication to ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention Conduct periodic account reviews and operational check-ins Identify opportunities for service expansion, upselling, and renewals Address client concerns professionally and coordinate with operations teams to resolve issues promptly Support onboarding and implementation efforts for new contracts Pipeline Management & Reporting Maintain accurate records of all prospecting activity, meetings, proposals, and sales opportunities within CRM systems Track pipeline metrics, conversion rates, and sales performance KPIs Provide regular sales forecasts and activity reports to leadership Participate in weekly sales and operational meetings Maintain strong follow-up discipline and consistent communication cadence Brand Representation & Market Presence Represent PM Security Solutions professionally at networking events, trade associations, municipal meetings, and industry functions Develop market awareness around company capabilities and differentiators Stay informed on industry trends, roadway regulations, permitting requirements, and competitive market conditions Assist with strategic marketing initiatives and community outreach efforts when needed Qualifications Minimum 2-5 years of outside sales, business development, or account management experience required Traffic control, construction, utilities, staffing, infrastructure, or service-industry sales experience strongly preferred Demonstrated ability to generate leads and close recurring service contracts Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills Highly organized with excellent time-management and follow-up abilities Comfortable conducting in-person meetings, networking, and site visits Ability to work independently while collaborating cross-functionally with operations leadership Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CRM platforms, and proposal development Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required Preferred Qualifications Existing network within the Atlanta construction, utility, or municipal market Experience selling B2B recurring operational services Familiarity with MOT planning and traffic control operations Understanding of roadway safety and permitting processes Experience using HubSpot or similar CRM systems Performance Expectations / KPIs Success in this role will be measured by: Monthly recurring revenue growth New client acquisition Proposal conversion rates Client retention and renewal percentages Pipeline activity and prospect engagement Service expansion within existing accounts Relationship development and market visibility Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary plus uncapped commission opportunities Performance-based bonus structure Mileage reimbursement Company-supported technology and operational resources Professional growth and advancement opportunities Opportunity to contribute to a rapidly scaling organization with strong leadership support Core Competencies Relationship Building Consultative Selling Strategic Communication Operational Awareness Accountability Professionalism Problem Solving Customer Service Excellence Negotiation & Closing Time Management Adaptability Team Collaboration
