$22.00 - $30.00 / hour (plus 1.5x overtime and performance bonuses) About Us CES NW Inc. is a civil engineering, land planning and survey firm based in Puyallup. We offer our clients responsiveness, and accountability with high-quality deliverables. We are seeking an energetic, detail-oriented team member with exceptional multitasking skills to join us. Position Overview This is an in-office land planner position combined with critical administrative support functions.
Responsibilities Land Planning & Administrative Duties Project Management:
Track and manage development projects from initial site feasibility through final entitlement phase. The ideal candidate will have experience with residential subdivisions, apartments and commercial projects.
Regulatory Analysis:
Review and accurately interpret municipal zoning codes, land use regulations, and development standards.
Permit Coordination:
Prepare, submit, and monitor permit applications while coordinating with sub-consultants for technical studies and site assessments.
Agency Liaison:
Review, evaluate, and directly address comments and corrections from municipal and jurisdictional agencies.
Communication:
Maintain professional and confidential communication with clients, consultants, office staff, project managers, and jurisdictional agencies as project support, provide clear project updates, and respond to inquiries in a timely and effective manner.
Position Requirements Industry Knowledge:
Fundamental understanding of land planning concepts, local/state development regulations, and standard office procedures.
Communication Skills:
Excellent written and verbal skills, with the ability to converse professionally with coworkers, clients, subconsultants and jurisdictional staff.
Software Proficiency:
Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel). AutoCAD / Civil 3D skills are a valuable plus but not required.
Time Management:
