Job Description

Farah & Farah is the premier personal injury law firm in Southeast Georgia and Northeast Florida, built upon the foundations of honesty, hard-work, and experience our clients can trust. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Social Security Case Specialist to join our team. In this important role, you will assist clients with Social Security cases, manage the entire case process, and ensure timely filing of appeals and other required documentation with the Social Security Administration (SSA). This is a full-time, onsite position offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on our clients' lives.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform administrative duties, such as scheduling, organizing case files, and managing logistics. Continuous communication with pertinent cases updates to clients, management, and attorneys Maintain consistent contact with SSA/Hearing's office for case updates, decisions, and any other claim information Maintain and manage the accuracy of files in paper or electronic filing systems Prepare legal documentation and correspondence for review and submission Monitor cases to ensure deadlines are met Follow-up with clients and SSA to facilitate completion and processing of claims Collect, examine, and organize evidence and other legal documents for case preparation, and attorney review Review and organize medical records to determine what records need to be requested
Minimum Qualifications:
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Exceptional attention to detail and problem solving skills Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to follow direction Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities Proficient typing skills Solid computer skills, especially with Microsoft Word and Outlook Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to empathize and communicate compassionately with clients Bilingual is a plus!

Schedule:
Full-time, 8-hour shifts Monday to Friday Onsite in a professional office setting
