About the
Role:
The Senior Accountant provides excellent customer service both internally with team members and externally with clients and vendors. The Senior Accountant is responsible for completing a wide variety of accounting, customer service, administrative, and other project and support-related tasks.
Responsibilities:
Assist with transactional accounting Month-end close process and reporting Oversight of administrative and accounting department employees Assist with the preparation of consolidated financials Assist with budgeting, financial planning, and cash management Documentation of internal controls, policies, and procedures for audit Customer and vendor management Assist with the preparation and reconciliation of payroll, payroll tax, and benefits Perform additional functions and participate in special projects as needed Requirements Property Management (Condo/HOA) experience strongly preferred. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting; CPA or MBA a plus A minimum of 3 years of experience obtained through increasingly responsible positions within the accounting and finance function, some public accounting experience is preferred Excellent GAAP accounting knowledge and consolidated financial statement preparation. Experience developing cash forecasts, and financial and operating metrics An ability to manage complex accounting and reporting systems and processes Strong analytical skills with the ability to connect business actions with financial outcomes Advanced knowledge of Excel, knowledge of automated financial and reporting systems, Microsoft Office products, and other tools commonly used by accounting and finance teams Experience using NetSuite, QuickBooks, Buildium, and/or CINC is a plus Benefits $70,000 annually Comprehensive benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance.
