The Work-Study Student for the Alabama Christian Academy will assist academy students who experience academic challenges by providing encouragement and study skill strategies in areas of concern. The Work-Study student will help ensure a supportive and encouraging environment where learning takes place at each student's pace. This Work-Study requires availability between 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM.

Responsibilities:

Monitor students while they take tests Read tests aloud to students as needed Review study guides to help students prepare for tests Provide encouragement and academic support Engage with students and develop positive relationships Maintain a patient, professional, and positive attitude Follow directions and maintain student confidentiality

Qualifications:

Must be eligible for the Faulkner University Work-Study Program If you are unsure if you qualify, you can check your eligibility with the Financial Aid office in the Rotunda at 130 B Good communication skills and reading skills Able to work well with academy students Dependable and responsible Patient and encouraging
